Discussion Resources for

the Novel

One of my greatest hopes in writing this novel was to spark meaningful discussions. Lylarose’s story invites personal reflections, faith-influenced perspectives, and deeply held memories that each reader may bring to it. Even when someone shares a personal trauma with me, there’s a warmth in knowing the story has resonated—whether it mirrors their experiences or challenges them. Sharing our stories, even through the lens of a novel, brings us closer to one another and leaves us all a little more awakened.

I’ve put together a booklet of discussion questions for readers and book clubs to discuss.  I also shared some of my own reflections in four letters that were written about different themes in the book.

** Warning **

Both the discussion questions and the letters contain SPOILERS about the end and the plot.  Do not download or open these resources until you have read the book.

I will be answering questions and doing on-going book articles (about both the story and the writing/publishing process) on my substack, Plot Twist Pending. You can get those by subscribing to my substack or reading them here.  You can also ask me any question using the Connect tab on this website.
